About Me

Always be yourself. Unless you can be a mermaid - then ALWAYS be a mermaid.

I'm Suzie. When I was a kid I dreamed of being a Disney princess in Florida. Not an animated one - a real-life one. 

I studied GCSE Drama, A- level Theatre Studies and have a BA (Hons) Degree in English with Drama from the University of Sheffield; but for one reason and another never lived out that particular dream.

I love fancy dress and have taken part in many parades as different characters. I particularly enjoy the look on the faces of kids (and some adults) when I dress up and interact with them.

I grew up by the sea, moved to London for a stint, and then found myself in Porthleven, Cornwall where I joined a group of sea swimmers called the Salty Sisters.

Inspired by the myths and the reality of other Cornish mermaids, I bought myself a tail from the brilliant Mertailor and have never looked back.
